Following in the footsteps of St. Francis

It is of course difficult to speak about Umbria without mentioning St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of Italy and an extremely important figure in our region. More and more people are embarking on the St. Francis Walk, which extends for around 350km from the border with Tuscany to the Lazio region, and of course passes through Città di Castello. For them we have reserved special prices … like real pilgrims!

Second time round

Once again we had a lovely stay (we stayed here 4 years ago for almost three weeks) and our host Elisa greeted us like we were family. Rooms and bathrooms are huge. A real "home away from home" Great value for money. "
